We are building a programme of activities for children and young people in Doncaster.

Please spread the word and encourage the youngsters in your life to join us!

AUTUMN TERM – Quick Links

Click here to grab your spot on our ‘Take Part in Art’ and ‘HEART – Movement and Dance’ sessions for the 5 to 15 age groups.

We also have a regular art session for 16 to 25s, and  Showchoir – our new Glee-style activity for 16 to 25s – please click here to book.

Take Part in Art

Thanks to our new Take Part in Art funders* (and a great response to our pilot programme), we have doubled our sessions for the youngest age groups.  We have also secured ‘Take Part in Art’ for the full school year ahead.

Sessions are free, expertly led and available to children across Doncaster.

We are keeping to small numbers in The Old Paperhouse, our new self-contained youth space. Booking in advance is essential.

If you have a youngster in your life who loves creativity, whether they are a beginner or a craft-expert, these sessions will give them time to have fun and to express themselves amongst a crew of likeminded others.

We even offer a one-off taster session for anyone who wants to try us out before registering for the full term.

*’Take Part in Art’ is funded for the 2021-2022 school year by Warburtons, Rotary St George’s, All Churches Trust and SYCF.

HEART – Movement and Dance

A weekly movement and dance session to get the heart pumping and toes tapping.

We’re keeping these sessions at small groups of up to six for now.

Great for something a little different with creativity and wellbeing throughout.

We will be trying out a few things at each session, so there will be a chance to learn something new as well as having time to build on the talents you already have.

These sessions are free for everyone!

For children aged 5 to 8, click here to book.

For children aged 9 to 12, click here to book.

Showchoir for 16 to 25s

Showchoir is our newest activity.

For young people who love all things musical theatre, we will be choosing our favourite showtunes and movement to match.

Our first sessions will be for song choices, choreography and planning ahead – we will sing when it is safe to do so and look forward to performing as soon as we have something great to show off.
