The cost of living crisis is challenging for us all, yet our supporters tell us that their desire to help YMCA Doncaster’s work remains unwavering and we are very thankful to each one of you wishing to continue to support our work.

We know that finances are strained, so we’ve looked at other ways you can make a difference without putting additional strain on your budget.

YMCA Doncaster has recently registered with easyfundraising. It’s an online platform that can be accessed via a phone, laptop, or tablet that enables you to give back through your everyday online purchases, at no additional cost to you. Not one penny!

Just imagine being able to do your weekly online grocery shop, or booking a much-needed getaway and raising funds for YMCA Doncaster at the same time without spending anything extra.

The process is simple: by signing up and channeling your online shopping through easyfundraising, a portion of your spending is directed to YMCA Doncaster.

Here is what you need to do:

Register: Create your account for free with easyfundraising. You can do that from our website here: https://ymcadoncaster.org.uk/easyfundraising/ During registration, you will need to select YMCA Doncaster as your chosen cause to ensure your contributions reach us.

Explore Partner Retailers: There are over 7,000 online retailers that partner with easyfundraising, ranging from supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco to fashion brands, electronics, travel, and more. Before making a purchase, log in to your easyfundraising account to see if your chosen retailer is one of their partners.

Shop with Purpose: If your chosen retailer is a partner you can access their website through easyfundraising before shopping online. This ensures that a percentage of your spending is automatically earmarked for YMCA Doncaster. Once you’ve completed your purchase easyfundraising will do all the work to collect the funds from the retailer.

Involve Family and Friends: Encourage friends, family, and colleagues to join you in raising donations for YMCA Doncaster and ask them to sign up too. The more people signing up, the more funds can be generated to feed into our children and youth work.

Watch Your Donations Rise: On your account dashboard, you should be able to see a section that shows the total amount you’ve raised for YMCA Doncaster. This amount is a sum of the contributions generated from your online purchases through easyfundraising.
