Starting in the the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, you’ll cross the iconic Tyne Bridge before finishing the 13.1-mile run along the stunning South Shields coast.
It will be the experience of a lifetime! In 2024, 60,000 runners raised over £6million for a range of charitable organisations, so you’ll be in great company on the day.
By joining Team YMCA Doncaster, you’ll be helping us to support the city’s most vulnerable young people, providing them with a safe place to go.

To raise funds in support of our vital services: we provide everything from supported accommodation to a range of creative activities for young people in Doncaster.
- You will receive a YMCA Doncaster running vest to wear on the day, to keep you cool and help you look the part!
- We’ll provide you with an information pack of fundraising ideas to help you reach your target, and our Fundraising and Development Officer will be on hand to support you every step of the way.
- Members of our team will be there on the day to cheer you on and celebrate your incredible achievement!
The registration fee* for our charity places is £50 and we ask that you raise a minimum of £300 through fundraising and sponsorship.
