Free arts and craft sessions for young people wanting to get creative and keep their hands busy.
Young people of Doncaster – we need your help! After this tough year, our town is in desperate need of some…pizzazz, oomph, energy, colour. Help us bring back the colour to Doncaster by taking part in our free arts and craft sessions. The more you make, the brighter our community gets! It doesn’t matter if you’re a total beginner or craft-expert, anyone’s welcome to join in (and who knows? Maybe you’re the next Picasso…).
What to expect?
Our lovely Arts & Wellbeing Officer, Justine, is hosting a range of exciting hour-long sessions for different ages both on Zoom and in person (whoop!). You’ll be able to let your imagination run wild as you create all sorts of fun things from masks to seascapes to tote bags and more. Chalk, glitter, paint, shells, sequins…if you can think of it, we’ll be using it. So sign up and get ready to get messy!
Is it safe?
Everyone’s safety is our top concern, and all the events will be COVID-secure. Groups will be no more than six – so make sure to book ASAP if you want a spot. (Don’t worry if you miss out, you can pop your name on a waiting list for future sessions).
Zero – Nothing – These sessions are on us (with some very welcome help from the Yorkshire Building Society).
Take a look here to search sessions for your age group, and book using our simple online system.
In the meantime
Why not get creative at home?
